The Woven Moon Collaboration | Brittany Lynn Imagery

This week has been incredibly fun as the busy season has started and there's a ton of new projects on the horizon! On Monday, I did a collaboration with Facebook Export The Woven Moon-1 Amanda of The Woven Moon and my best friend Aubrey for Amanda's new Fall Line of cute and comfy tees and sweatshirts! When we received the shirts, Aubrey and I were ecstatic and full of ideas for photographing them in a fun, natural way.

My favorite thing about these shirts is how soft they are! When I put the first one on, I couldn't decide whether we should model them in a loungy, cozy environment or if we should lean toward outdoorsy and adventurous because honestly, they are perfect for both.

In an attempt to balance the two worlds, we set off on the side by side to shoot the first two in a recently cleared area with trees to shield us from the midday sun. Once we were comfortable, jumping in to shooting was a ton of fun and we had a blast taking turns modeling and shooting. Luckily, Aubrey's home is surrounded by countless gorgeous locations so we didn't have to go far at all to get a variety of images. From woodpiles, to dead leaves, to stone walls, we were set - and we didn't even use the pond!

Facebook Export The Woven Moon-11 My favorite part of the whole project was rummaging through Aubrey's holiday decorations in search of props and inspiration! Our heads were boiling over with ideas and bringing them to life was such a cool thing to watch. The further we dug, the more scenes we came up with and we still have a ton of them to pull together next time.

Overall, this project has been a huge source of fun and creative outlet and I hope to collaborate with these amazing ladies again soon! Until then, you can find me lounging around campsites across Missouri in my Facebook Export The Woven Moon-6 favorite Wanderlust sweatshirt and brainstorming ideas for future shoots!
