When I envision a perfect use of free time, I either see myself on an adventure or sitting in a serene and beautiful place tucked away in the woods. In both of these visions, I am outdoors. There is something so special to me about Mother Nature and the many spectacular displays she puts on for us.

I do my best to surround myself by her elements as much as possible. In fact, in my backyard, you can often find me piddling away in my garden where I have many flowers, herbs, fruits, and vegetables. It is my happy place and a place where I can go to bring myself back to the present.

Few things are as wonderous and whimsical as Mother Nature. I am constantly finding myself in awe of her magic and beauty and I am grateful for this human experience.

As I sit here, cuddled up in a blanket and sipping warm coffee at 2:20 in the afternoon, I am already missing summer! I don't know about you but I have been wanting the weather to cool down for some time but now that it is finally here, I find myself wishing for just a tiny bit more warm weather.

So, as one last goodbye to summer and to welcome fall into our lives, I wanted to share some of my favorite blooms from this year.

As always, thank you so much for reading and for your support!

Keeping this one short and sweet today so I can get back to cuddling the dogs!

Happy Thursday.
