Keeping it short and sweet today but I couldn't let Thanksgiving pass without showing some gratitude for this life!

Life is truly a miracle. We are all here for a limited time and it is my mission to make the most of that no matter how easy or difficult things are. It is a rollercoaster of events that shape us into who we are but we are never done developing. We are always changing, becoming someone new based on our experiences and our perspectives. I have had some of the most euphoric highs and some of the deepest lows and all of those things have shifted my outlook and made me into who I am today and I’m not even close to done!!
Life is a gift. It is a precious experience that we get to share.
I am happily married to the literal man of my dreams with a four year old daughter who happens to be my tiny best friend. My best friend from high school is still my best friend today and I get to watch our children laugh and grow together. I have suffered the loss of a cousin at just 6 years old, my mother suddenly at the young age of 45, and both of my grandparents on my father’s side to whom I was incredibly close. I grew up in a household that put alcohol before love and went hungry on more occasions than I can remember.
Life is hard, life is unforgiving, and it has no bias. Life doesn’t care how moral you are or how weak you are feeling. But life is also gracious and bountiful with her gifts and it is in these times that I choose to rejoice in the sunshine! No matter what you are going through, joyous times or storms, everything will pass. Things will get better, but they will also get worse. But in the end, life is a gift and I am so insanely grateful that I have been given this life.
