As many of you know, I like to be light-heartedly sarcastic from time to time. That being said, I had to have a little fun with our latest life event!

Our beautiful daughter will be exactly one and a half years old on the 24th of this month and the pressure is on for us to have another child if we actually plan on doing so. We are always being asked about when our friends and family can expect a second little one from us and we like to laugh it off as best we can as we don't even know! Luckily for us, the questioning isn't putting pressure on us and it's more out of curiosity as we live pretty private lives so we figured we should respond in the best way we know how - with smiles and laughter. 


So now, the moment you've been waiting for...

I present to you the newest addition to our family:

Marley!

We rescued this little guy on Saturday, February 27th from Dog Saver in Washington, MO. He is the sweetest puppy and is quickly becoming Bella's best friend! Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to hear his story but the moment Bella noticed him, I knew he had picked her to be his human. 

He was in a pen with his brother and as we were about to leave, his brother was adopted. There Marley was, all alone. I allowed Bella to play with him a little longer and when I saw how wonderfully they got along, I just had to ask about the adoption process. 
One hour later, the papers were filled out and he was ours!
The rest is history. 

So, to our friends and family: This is the best we can do right now but on the plus side, this one doesn't need diapers and will not interfere with our sleep that we have worked so hard to get back (hopefully)! 

We love our rescue buddy and we hope that you are able to adopt as well when it comes time to add another fur baby to your family. Not only do we have more love in our household, but we gave him a second chance at life and that's something you can't buy!
